When Age UK wanted to launch an online radio station they commissioned us to design the identity, the templates, the player, the schdule and build the technology to run it.
The Wireless is ‘radio for grown-ups’ and is dedicated to playing a mix of music, entertainment and information to improve later life in the UK. Since launch it has also been extended to a DAB radio service in certain regions.
Drawing from the vibrant brand colour palette we created an identity with a sense of movement and vitality. We were keen to showcase the varied interests of our diverse audience and the ways in which Age UK can help. We developed the landing pages, radio player and other templates in line with the Age UK website style and worked with our technical partner to deliver the build and administration functionality.
