There are lots of great looking shows and exhibitions on as we head into autumn.

Tate 'Flow' LogoThe Tate Modern are hosting a collaboration of creative minds to celebrate World Mental Health Day on 18 October. Flow presents fun and creative activities suitable for all ages and an exciting range of participatory workshops celebrating positive mental health. The day is brings together six local and national arts and mental health organisations.

Designers in Residence opens on 10 September at The Design Museum in London. The exhibition is themed ‘Disruption’ and celebrates new and emerging designers. As well as the exhibition, there are also related talks. The show runs until March 2015, so plenty of time to catch this one – can’t wait to see it.

‘The V&A presents the first exhibition to explore the powerful role that objects play in grassroots movements for social change, demonstrating how political activism drives a wealth of design ingenuity.’

The Disobedient Objects exhibition, which runs until February 2015, focuses on the late 1970’s to the present and showcases collective creativity. This looks fascinating, with everything from Suffragette teapots to protest robots, and even better, is free to attend.
